Reegs caught up with The Shins’ frontman James Mercer out here for Splendour in the Grass…. He actually talks mostly about the art that inspired the strange little creatures on the cover of the new album Port of Morrow – they also feature in “The Rifle’s Spiral” video (directed by the award-winning Jamie Caliri - if you want to know more about, I explain here).
