Short Stack Vs 360 Slanging Match!
Last night when Melbourne rapper 360 posted a YouTube video of himself berating Short Stack, he did more damage than good to his own reputation.
Over two minutes, 360 (real name Matt Colwell) endeavoured to convince his fans to vote for him as Channel [V]’s 2011 Oz Artist Of The Year by making nasty comments about the pop-punk band.
In the video, titled FUCK SHORTSTACK, the 24-year-old struggles to articulate comments like “Every time I hear a Short Stack song I want to chop off my cock and throw it into heavy traffic on a freeway. Fuck Short Stack,” and “every time you vote for me a Short Stack fan gets kidnapped and has their head shaved.”
Many of his fans have now turned off him with some commenting:
“Up until i watched this video, i actually liked 360. I don't see how_ making this video is getting you anywhere in the way of helping you win oz artist. Discriminating against a band who have clearly been in the music industry & have achieved more than you isn't 'cool' and it won't gain you respect. Lay off the Mary J bro.”
“Love your music 360. But I think it was a bad move making_ this video bro. Think it did more bad than good, for your image anyway. Keep killing those beats but mate.”
Short Stack bit back last night with a hilarious video response that sees 22-year-old frontman Shaun Diviney impersonate the rapper’s clip, his inarticulate manner, ending with a freestyle rap mimicking 360. Diviney of course bleeped the expletives to cater for his tween fans - although he does drop the C-bomb.
