It's almost spring... time for new beginnings... hmmm I fear I may have reached my leaf turning quota... thankfully the wealth of blossoming unsigned musical talent in this country knows no such limit, which is why we have no choice but to bring back our Unsigned Find competition this August!

DID YOU KNOW - at least a quarter of our playlist is made up of unsigned artists doing the hard slog on their own without a label? Well now you do, and this is your chance to support them!

The search is now on for Radar’s August Unsigned Find. We've carefully selected a shortlist of artists we've been spinning in recent months, so if you're in one of the bands yourself or just a connoisseur of great tunes - you can get involved!

Show your love for your favourite artist (or 2) by clicking on their picture in list below. This will take you to their artist profile - then all you have to do is click "like". It's as easy as eating a pie (making a pie or doing the math involving Pi can be quite difficult).

The unsigned artist with the most ‘likes’ gets crowned Radar's August Unsigned Find. 

(Just make sure you 'like' the artist - not just the track)

WHAT DOES THE WINNER GET?

You get to hijack Radar Digital Radio, play your own music plus some of your favourite songs.

Do an interview with Reegan our Radar announcer.

An opportunity for airplay on the Radar Triple M show – subject to Radar/Triple M content approval.

An opportunity for airplay on the Radar Today Network show – subject to Radar/Today Network approval.

Your songs get to be played on Radar over a period of one 1 month.

An “Unsigned find of the month‟ story on radarmusic.com.au

A number of mentions, subject to the Promoter’s discretion, on the Radar facebook / twitter / other social networking pages

An opportunity to be the feature artist on the artist page on the website.

A feature in the following Radar email newsletter.

One "Unsigned find of the month‟ button for the unsigned band to put on their facebook / twitter account for a time specified by the Promoter.

A meeting with a Music Director from 2day FM/MMM Sydney or Fox FM/MMM Melbourne in person or on phone.

A four week online advertising package across the Radar website (radarmusic.com.au) to be used within 6 months from date of winner announcement.

Up to 5 hours consultancy time with Varasso PR (varrassopr.com) either in person (Melbourne only) or via Skype/Phone/Email (at promoter‟s discretion) within 2 months of the winner being announced.

An opportunity for on-air airplay on Radar TV (subject to a film clip being available. At the promoters discretion and to air within 3 months from the time of winner announcement).
