SO MUCH NOSTALGIA THIS WEEK!!!

Here's what we've added to Radar this week and why... dum dum duuuummmmm

Blink 182 - Up All Night

Do you think that 16 year olds will fall in love with Blink like people my age did back then? This'll be a VERY interesting album to hear when it's out in September (it's called Neighborhood btw). Do you think they've 'grown' as musicians?

Boy & Bear - Milk & Sticks

This band has the midas touch when it comes to music. Playing Splendour, Lolapalooza and with their album out on August 5, I for one am looking forward to Moon Fire.

The Drums - Money

Do you reckon The Drums have second album nerves? Probably not BUT only because if this lead single is any indication, it'll be grouse (that means great in Melbournian) - Their sophomore album Portamento is due out in September

Living End - Song For The Lonely

The follow up single from 'The Ending is Just The Beginning Repeating' from their album of the same name. All three boys came in for a record of the week and are absolute champs. I also saw them play the gig they streamed on YouTube and boy oh boy, they've still got it.

The Jezabels - Endless Summer

Word on the street is that these guys (and girls) are going down the independent road and I say good on them. It's worked before, it'll work again and considering they're playing a STACK of shows over festival season, I think they'll be right. Especially if they keep pumping out tunes like this.

Red Hot Chili Peppers - The Adventures Of Raindance Maggie

The boys are BACK! Anthony and Chad from RHCP talk about music and their new guitarist in this handy little video. Enjoy

Regurgitator - One Day

I don't know about you BUT I don't go to parties baby. Old school reference I know but come one man, Unit was one of the best Aussie albums EVER. So much so, here's one of the tracks from that album to get you in the mood.

The Kooks -  Junk Of The Heart

I'm a big Kooks fan so I was always gonna try and push for this song to be added. LUCKILY it's a swell track.

The Strokes - Machu Picchu

Fans of The Strokes aren't really sure if they should love the album Angles or not. Personally, I was never really in to them as much as other kids around me but I'm really digging this album.

Tonight Alive - Starlight

These kids have certainly done the hard yards and have now signed to one of the biggest labels in the country. Good on em though as they worked bloody hard for it.

Kid Hudson - Told You So

Ex- Dreams of Leaving singer Kid Hudson is doing his own nu thang and this song is VERY catchy. We debuted it on Radar New Hits with Byron Cooke earlier in July.

Starting Sunday - This love

Melbourne rockers, Starting Sunday have been on our Radar (nice pun huh) for a while so when this track came through, we had to get it on.

Palms - The Summer is Done With Us

Red Riders 2.0 - Nuff said right?
