My Future Lies were the ONLY self distributed band sitting in the AIR charts last week, something we thought was pretty awesome.
We got frontman Luke in for a chat about just how they managed it. It all comes down to their epic and amazing fans by the sounds of it.
The guys got the word out back in Feb that they needed help to get their debut album out, so fans began to pre-order the record before the boys had even headed into the studio.
All those who helped the band get there in the end are listed in the liner notes of the CD. How fantastic is it to see a band genuinely appreciative of their fan base?
