Is this What You’d Expect From The Vaccines?
“What did you expect from the Vaccines?” was the title of the The Vaccines debut album, so on listening to/watching any of this Brit punk revival band’s new material, I do constantly find myself asking that question….
I must say, watching their new video for “Tiger Blood” whatever I expected... pretty sure it didn’t involved two of the band’s member beating each other with postal tubes.

If you haven’t heard of these guys before, they’re worth checking out if you’re into bands like The Strokes or The Vines or Bass Drum of Death. The Vaccines are happily reshaping old school punk licks into their own brand of symbol smashing indie rock… and if you manage to catch them at this years Big Day Out or at their sideshow with Kasabian you won’t be able to stop yourself from jumping around and flailing whatever length of hair you managed to grow for the occasion.
They were out here for Splendour earlier this year… and that’s exactly what happened.
