Remission Theory
Melbourne’s Remission Theory reckon they’re on “a quest to change the soundscape”. It’s an ambitious aim, but ten points for giving it a shot. Their mission started back in mid-2010 when frontman Daniel Kelaart, keyboardist/guitarist Dave Temby, bassist Greg Kroussoratsky and drummer Matt Farace decided to join forces, hitting the stage and pumping out a demo not long after to rave reviews.
Last year they kicked off that quest officially with their Déjà Vu EP, an uplifting mix of emotive balladeering and glossy, bombastic pop-rock that’s earned them support slots with the likes of Michael Paynter and New Empire.
