1929Indian
According to our latest data, 1929indian are neither from 1929 or Indian. Well, at least as far as we know - there’s a small chance they may pack a time machine backstage. They are however a fine five-piece from Newcastle, NSW who delight in sweeping, stately alt-rock (and who also have a penchant for vintage motorbikes).
Coming together in mid-2010, the band haven’t stopped, laying down their debut EP The Dreaming last year with producer Dave Hammer (The Jezabels, The Rubens). The single ‘Women In Cages’ caught ears with its sound and our eyes with its title – we’d love to know what inspired that, guys? Or maybe we wouldn’t… we’re not sure.
With their music locked down on disc, the guys have now focused on bringing it to live on the live stage, supporting the likes of fellow up and comers The Holidays, Elizabeth Rose and Strange Talk. The future looks bright for these guys (and if they do have a time machine, they probably already know that).
